TEATRO DELL'OPERA DI ROMA
2003 / 2004
Invited by Artistic Director Mauro Trombetta, I spent a year working in the scenic workshops of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma — one of Italy's most prestigious opera houses. Under the guidance of Maurizio Varamo, the theatre's official set designer, I worked within the scenography and scenic painting department, developing a deep understanding of large-scale theatrical production from the inside. It was also during this time that I had the privilege of meeting Carla Fracci.
